    Instructions for most mods:
  • download the latest drivers for your phone here
  • get information about rsdlite 3.1 by emailing us here
  • install rsdlite 3.1
  • connect your phone to your computer
  • hardware detected alerts should appear
  • install software for the hardware by pointing them to the driver files downloaded previously
  • open rsdlite 3.1
  • click the "..." button and point it to the fix file (not the folder)
  • click start
  • and you are done!

  • note: some users have expressed difficulty having their phone detected with the latest drivers. please try the troubleshooting steps first, or use another computer to try to do the same process, if possible. if you are still having issues, please contact us.
    Putting videos on your cellphone:
  • download 3gp movie converter here
  • unzip the folder an open up the setup icon
  • select 3gpp+aac setting
  • in the main software window, select from the drop down menu "QCIF High Quality 15fps", or experiment with other settings and let me know.
  • select your output directory
  • drag your video file into the window, wait
  • find your converted movie file in your output folder and drag and drop the file into the "video" directory on your phone
  • wait for the file to transfer, unplug your phone, and view your video in multimedia->videos
  • and you are now done!
  • if you are using video converter #2, simply install the exe program here on your computer and follow the instructions in the software

    Putting skins on your cellphone:
  • download your skin here
  • unzip the file
  • upload the wallpaper file to the Picture folder of your phone through the TF Card or with Mobilephonetools. It has to be in the Picture folder of the phone's main NOT the TF Card
  • Flex skin file with RSD Lite 3.1 or higher. After the flex the phone should Auto-restart
  • Once done unplug the phone and enjoy the skin
  • Delete flexes are included in the files

Troubleshooting Steps:
    Having trouble installing your drivers? Please check these items of interest first:
  • do you have usb 1.1 on your computer?
  • is your windows xp version pirated?
  • do you NOT have mobile phonetools installed? (important) mobile phonetools is the software that comes with your phone. it contains a very important driver that you must have installed before you begin the process.
  • have you plugged in your phone into your computer ever before?
  • do you have windows xp sp1?
  • if you have answered yes to any of the above questions, try the troubleshooting steps below, or contact us for more help here
    Having problems connecting your phone to rsdlite?
  • plug in your phone
  • go to "my computer"
  • click on "view system information"
  • click on "hardware manager" on the tabs above
  • click on the "device manager" button
  • if your motorola phone was detected as a removable mass disk storage, the existing driver for your phone should be under "modems"
  • once you click on the motorola driver under modems, or another category which may be specific to motorola, click the button along the top row in the window that says "uninstall".
  • unplug your phone
  • plug it in again, and hardware detected messages should appear, at which point you should direct the "software needed" screen to the uncompressed folder with the drivers.
    Still having trouble? (try this at your own risk)
  • download and decompress the drivers into a new folder on your desktop
  • download and install P2K Advanced Editor build 5515 here
  • connect your phone
  • run P2k AE, click on "Connect in P2K mode"
  • If windows wants to install driers point it to the decompressed folder on the desktop, not the specific driver files.
  • When finished, the dot on the upper left side will turn to Green
  • Now start rsdlite (information about installing it is above)
  • It should connect immediately, and you can now modify your phone.
